China operations and certification
Newly established Hypertherm (Shanghai) Consulting Co. Ltd. provides Hypertherm technical support, product promotion and distributor/OEM partner development to a rapidly growing Chinese metal fabricating market. In a move intended to increase Asian sales of Hypertherm plasma metal cutting systems, China grants CCC certification to 14 different Hypertherm products. This national product marking system confirms that specific Hypertherm products comply with all Chinese quality and safety standards: the "stamp of approval" required for importing into China any product manufactured outside the country.
