Associate ownership
Reflecting its team-oriented culture, Hypertherm becomes an employee-owned corporation. The new employee stock ownership plan "provides associates a direct stake in the success of the company," founder Dick Couch notes. "Ultimately, we would like to see Hypertherm as a wholly associate-owned company."
