PAC-500 high-current plasma cutting system introduced
A few short years after inventing the radial water-injection technology, Hypertherm introduces the PAC-500 high-current plasma system, capable of accommodating up to 1,000 amps for cutting stainless steel up to 6" thick. System remains in Hypertherm product line for more than 30 years, introducing manufacturers around the globe to Hypertherm technology.
